Individual Adult Counselling

  • Personalized support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, stress, sleep disturbances, ADHD, feeling overwhelmed, life transitions, and unresolved childhood experiences
     
  • Evidence-based approaches focused on building resilience, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change
     
  • A safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients are encouraged to share their stories openly and at their own pace
     
  • Strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that feeling heard, understood, and supported is central to effective therapy
     
  • Flexible and individualized treatment, with Julie adapting her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and stage of life
     
  • Integrative therapeutic approaches, including narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy, and person-centred therapy
     
  • Thoughtful and collaborative sessions, with regular check-ins to ensure clients feel safe, comfortable, and aligned with the direction of therapy
     
  • Support for parenting and family-related concerns, including navigating challenges involving children and relationships
     
  • Guidance through life transitions, such as career changes, separation, identity exploration, and shifting life roles
     
  • Experience supporting students and young adults, particularly with academic stress, school-life balance, and decisions related to future education or career paths
     
  • Understanding of workplace and life stress, informed by Julie’s background as a former teacher and her experience supporting clients managing multiple responsibilities
